Chordoma Foundation

The mission of the Chordoma Foundation is to accelerate the development of effective treatments for chordoma which is a rare from of cancer. Russ Parker has been a continued supporter of the Chordoma Foundation on behalf of friend Josh who is leading the search for a cure after being diagnosed in 2006.
City of Hope

City of Hope, an innovative biomedical research, treatment and educational institution, is dedicated to the prevention and cure of cancer and other life-threatening diseases, guided by a compassionate patient-centered philosophy, and supported by a national foundation of humanitarian philanthropy. Russ was treated for leukemia in 2005 at City of Hope , and is active volunteer and advocate for City of Hope and their patient centered philosophy.

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

Susan G. Komen race for the cure is dedicated to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.. today there are over 2 million breast cancer survivors in the US! This race has been an important part of Kelly Hallbecks life. She races every year in rememberance of those we have lost and celebration of those we have saved.

John Parker was a longtime supporter of the UC Irvine Program in Geriatrics. John's daughter Kerry Burnight Phd of Gerontology, and Betty Parker have initiated a lecture series for "aging brilliantly" in his memory.

Russ currently serves as a member of the board of directors for the LA/Orange County Chapter of NAIOP and is the advisor for its Young Professional Group. He also serves on the Community Service Committee. Matt Jepson and Lee Redmond are also active members in NAIOP.

Lee Redmond has been a member of ULI's Small Scale Development Council for over 25 years. John B. Parker was a member in ULI for 33 years and was named a trustee in 1984. Russ recently served as chairman of ULI's TAP panel for the Laguna Niguel Town Center for the County of Orange and the City of Laguna Niguel.

Matt Jepson and Russ Parker are active members of USGBC OC. Matt Jepson is a LEEDS accredited member and Russ serves on the advocacy committee that awarded the inaugural USGBC LEED Eco-City Award in four Orange County cities in 2012.
